CHAPTER 4: PREPARATION
It did take several years for God to arrange everything so that my coming into the world would be at His perfect time and in His perfect way. The major things that were resolved over this period are the subject of this sharing.
Though my mother had been in ministry and possessed by then both a master's degree in education and another is ministry, God called her to obtain a Doctor of Ministry degree before I could be born. Simultaneously, my father who had left his job with the multi-national corporation would need to be placed in other employment that would allow him to remain in Florida.

While these two things were transpiring,
my parents were continually seeking God as to the mission and where God wanted me to be birthed. God had told them that He would lead them to the church first and then would show them the place where we were to live.
In 1998, God directed my parents to a church in Kissimmee, Florida. The very first day that they attended a service there, God showed them the property that would become my first home. By the end of that year, my parents purchased the property and began to renovate it to house them and ultimately me.

This process took several months. When they thought it was time for my birth, God presented another step that needed to be taken. During my mother's doctoral studies, she was given a book to read and report on entitled, "The Transformation of the Inner Man," by John and Paula Sandford. It was clear to her on reading this book that this was to be the mandate and focus of my life. So together they read this book, doing all that it recommended. When they completed this task, it was time for my birth, which occurred on September 19, 1999. Over the years, we have all come to see the significance of this date in God's economy.
